Pursuit of Happiness

How is it that even though I dislike a color, Stampin' Up! has a way of making me like it?! Summer Starfruit is definitely not my fave, but I used it because it was pulled together so nicely in this Print Poetry Designer Series Paper. I had to be matchy matchy, so I hesitantly pulled it out of my file drawer, and what do you know? I like it!

I made a card with this identical layout using Bloomin Marvelous stamp set from Sale-a-Bration. I'm addicted to Papillon Potpourri, but I usually use the more realistic butterflies in the set. This time I went a little more playful.

I stamped the butterflies in Summer Starfruit and Primrose Petals, stamping off the Primrose to also achieve a lighter shade of pink butterfly. I dotted each of the butterflies with a pearl.
